In the news:

Nasrallah: 'Next time, we'll begin with attack on Tel Aviv'

Should Israel enter into another war with Lebanon, Hezbollah will start by attacking Tel Aviv and not north of the country, Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah threatened on Friday, according to Lebanese newspaper Al Akhbar.

Libya Before and After Image Shows What a NATO/UN Humanitarian Mission Looks Like

Start with sanctions because of ‘humanitarian’ reasons. If they don’t work, arm ragtag mercenaries and implement a ‘no-fly zone’ through an international body. If the rebels can’t hunt down the defunct leader, then just bomb the hell out the country until a bloody carcass vaguely resembling the leader turns up. Then claim that the humanitarian intervention was a wild success. PS: Make sure you destroy enough of the infrastructure to secure a huge IMF bondage loan for reconstruction.

The article above missed the "Responsibility to Protect" doctrine as the foundations for this incursion. Otherwise it was spot on.

Unmasked! 'Occupy' protests sending sharp anti-Jew message

The dark scourge of anti-Semitism has reared up at many "Occupy" protests across the country, and the subject could well become a campaign 2012 issue as Republicans have been quick to point out to voters that many Democrats, including the president, are aligning themselves with the protests.

According to a statement from the Republican National Committee, to all "interested parties," the Democrats have been "silent" in the face of "protesters' extreme anti-Semitic, anti-Israel comments."

"Where's the outrage?" asked the statement from Sean Spicer. "While protesters are seen spewing hate against Jewish Americans, President Obama, Nancy Pelosi, and DNC Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz have declared their support for the demonstrations. Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee Chair Steve Israel even circulated a petition saying he's 'standing with' Occupy Wall Street."

"The movement is anti-Zionist and anti-Semitic. There has been no shortage of vile anti-Semitic slogans at the occupy Wall Street protest. These are more than just insinuations, but signs equating Jews with banks and the rich, protesting U.S. foreign relations with Israel (especially defense funding), mention of the Rothschild family and asking people to Google 'Jewish Billionaires,'" he wrote.

"Many Jews should be shocked to join any movement that has received endorsement from both the Communist Party and the Nazis," he said.

Greece crisis: a second day of riots in Athens

Greek protesters rampaged for a second day outside parliament with firebombs and stones, leaving one construction worker dead and at least 74 injured. Communist party supporters taking part in the rally came under repeated attacks from hundreds of masked protesters in motorcycle helmets. Fights broke out as the Communist party supporters retaliated. Chaos ensued as protesters and masked youths armed with clubs charged each other, and riot police fired volleys of tear gas to separate the two sides.

Quakes in America and around the world:

2 Earthquakes Strike San Francisco

At 02:41 PM a moderate magnitude 4.0 earthquake with epicenter near Berkeley shook the San Fransisco Bay area. 6 hours later a similar earthquake this time measuring 3.8 hit the same Berkeley area. Both quakes were felt far away from San Francisco.

2nd earthquake - aftershock - rattles Bay Area

An earthquake and an aftershock, both on the Hayward Fault near Berkeley, rattled the Bay Area on Thursday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The first quake, with a preliminary magnitude of 4.0, struck at 2:41 p.m. The second, a 3.8, was at 8:16 p.m.

Although the second temblor was an aftershock, USGS geophysicist Rafael Abreu warned people not to get complacent.

"When you have an area with such an active seismicity, it's hard to tell if you're really seeing an aftershock or if it's just a regular earthquake," he said. "You should be prepared for more earthquakes to happen, whether they're aftershocks or not."

Moderate extremely shallow earthquake in Texas

A moderate 4.8 magnitude earthquake struck below Fashing, Texas. The earthquake was felt as far as Austin to the north and Corpus Christi to the south-west.
