In the news:

The protest movements are becoming more and more "anti-Israeli" in nature and this represents a very ominous trend, but not unexpected.

Anti-Israel Protest in Boston: Occupy Boston, Not Palestine

The Daily Free Press, a student newspaper at Boston University, reported that the demonstration, entitled ‘Occupy Boston — Not Palestine,’ protested U.S. support of Israeli military presence in “Palestine.”

Earlier this week it was reported that the Occupy Wall Street protests were also used by some to bring up the age-old “Jewish Conspiracy” theme....claimed that “the people who run Wall Street are guilty of crimes against humanity. A small ethnic group consists of…almost all bankers on Wall Street are Jewish.

“There is a conspiracy in this country, and Jews control the media, the finances…. The Jews represent two percent of the population…and have pooled their money together to take control of Americans finances….Almost all of the federal judges are Jewish.”

And this commentary from Pajamas Media is a must read:

An Open Letter To The 'Good Liberal' Who Ignores Occupy Wall Street's Jew Hatred

I am writing to you about a “contagious” and dangerous plague of “hatred” that threatens the survival of the Jews, the Jewish state, and of all civilization.

We also see countless Nazi-era and contemporary Muslim cartoons in which Jews are portrayed as vulture-like child killers, big nosed greedy bankers, disgusting octopuses, and disease-spreading vermin. This anti-Semitism is not learned from the West. It is indigenous to Islam. In fact, Muslims forced Jews to wear distinctive dress and insignia many centuries before the Nazi era. If this startles you awake, wait for what’s coming next.

We see and hear angry, hate-choked speeches delivered on American campuses which characterize Israel as a “Nazi, Apartheid” state. We see Israeli soldiers confiscating 50 tons of ship-borne weapons in 2010 — weapons which included rockets with the capacity to attack the Israeli Navy and even more sites in civilian Israel.

No matter what else or what more Israel did or could do, it would ever have been enough. Israel’s crime is an essential and existential one. It exists. This is unforgivable. It remains a permanent offense to Arabs and Muslims. In 2000, when Arafat launched his Second Intifada, I knew that Wiesel’s bloody beast was back.

And take a look at this article - yet another piece that exposes how Russia is working behind the scenes in the Middle East:

Moscow welcomes Hizballah delegation, cites Israeli talks with Hamas

Russia used Israel's negotiations with the Hamas for the release of Gilad Shalit to justify its continuing support for Syrian President Bashar Assad and opening the door to pro-Iranian and pro-Syrian terrorist groups. Wednesday, Oct. 19, Moscow welcomed a Lebanese Hizballah delegation, the first European capital to formally receive Iran's terrorist surrogate.

The Hizballah delegation, on a three-day visit to the Russian capital as the official guests of the Russian Lower House, is composed of three high-ranking officials, Mohamed Raad, director of Hizballah's Organization Department, Hassan Fadlallah, who runs the Information and Propaganda Department, and Secretary General Hassan Nasrallah's deputy, Nawar As-Sakhili.

Syria on the Brink of Civil War

Seven months of unrest in Syria approached the brink of all-out armed conflict Monday as 41 people were killed, among them 11 soldiers who clashed with organized army defectors.

Meanwhile, UN chief Ban Ki-moon urged Assad to immediately stop the killings of civilians, a day after the Arab League called for “national dialogue” to end the violence.

Organized armed resistance to Assad by two nascent brigades of army defectors led by renegade Syrian Air Force General Riad Assad in Turkey has been slowly gaining steam in recent weeks.

While observers say the forces are not strong enough to break Assad's grip on power in of themselves, they could form the nucleus of a broader popular armed rising.

Look who's behind uprising in Orlando

A lawyer linked through the Council on American Islamic Relations to Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood has been identified as the driving force behind the Occupy Orlando protests that have been staged in Johnson Park, according to a video report from Tom Trento of the Florida Security Council and The United West.

"You're not going to believe ... the evidence ... that links this movement with a key Muslim individual who's associated with CAIR and the Muslim Brotherhood," Trento explains on the video. "This individual has assumed a leadership [role] if [he is] not the leader of this movement in Orlando."

Federal, D.C. and Media Complicity with Revolutionary Marxist Occupiers

Or consider Tracy Van Slyke, the director of something called the Media Consortium, a group of progressive publications and groups. Van Slyke is also on the board of a group called National People’s Action, which is part of the protests. The group’s policy director, Liz Ryan Murray, wrote an article for Dylan Ratigan’s on-line series titled “Get Money Out” of politics.

This is significant because Andrew Breitbart’s Big Journalism site has acquired a series of emails demonstrating that Ratigan, host of a political show on MSNBC, has been advising the “Occupy Wall Street” movement on its message and tactics. The purpose is to get as many dupes and clueless people into the movement as possible.

You may recall that Ratigan had hosted author and cartoonist Ted Rall, who declared that he wants to “change the system entirely” and that a “revolt” was necessary. Ratigan had no problem with giving a platform to someone who seemed to be endorsing revolutionary violence.

Breitbart himself points out the evidence that the Communist Party USA and other communist, socialist and anarchist groups are supporting the Wall Street protests. Brandon Darby, once a left-wing radical himself, has written that the movement “is nothing less than a current manifestation of an international revolutionary push in which I myself used to play a significant role.” He knows some of the movers and shakers.

Greek strike turns violent ahead of new austerity vote

A second day of street clashes and economic standstill is expected on Thursday (20 October) as the Greek parliament votes on fresh spending cuts demanded by the EU and IMF to release another tranche of money.

Protests on Wednesday saw record participation in Athens, with at least 100,000 people taking to the streets and clashing violently with police.

Riot police with tear gas and rubber batons tackled the protesters, who threw petrol bombs and rocks. Mountains of rubbish, which remains uncollected since the beginning of the month, were set alight while public property was looted.

The protests are aimed against a bill likely to be passed Thursday by the parliament, which foresees slashing public sector pay and pensions by 25 percent, along with tax hikes, a suspension of collective wage bargaining in the private sector, and the laying off of thousands of civil servants.

Vladimir Putin pushes for closer ex-Soviet Union

Former KGB agent Putin has put a closer union with the now-sovereign republics at the top of his agenda since announcing plans to return to the Kremlin in a job swap with President Dmitry Medvedev in March.

The 11-nation Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) was formed in an urgent bid to give some structure to the struggling but interdependent republics that made up the Soviet Union prior to its collapse in 1991.

Putin has also backed the idea of reducing global dependence on the dollar and on Tuesday night discussed the idea of setting up rouble-denominated trade with Ukraine during talks with counterpart Mykola Azarov.

Series of earthquakes strike Big Island of Hawaii

A 4.5-magnitude earthquake struck the north part of the Big Island on Wednesday, and the shaking was followed by a series of smaller temblors.

The first quake struck 13 miles southeast of Waimea at about 2 p.m., the U.S. Geological Survey said. It was centered at a depth of 11.7 miles. About two dozen smaller quakes ranging in magnitude from 1.7 to 3.6 followed within two hours.

A Brief Note On The End Of America As We Have Known It

The debt extension, the downgrade in America’s credit rating, and the festering Marxofascist empire called the European Union are pushing what we have tended to call “Western Civilization” past its economic tipping point.

The central bank financiers and governments of the world’s more powerful nations may yet find ways to extend our mutual insolvency bubble, to avoid an immediate catastrophe, but those moves tend to make the bubble burst bigger and harder, later.

Readers of the Bound may understand this is being intentionally done to America.

Personally, I have believed it likely that those who are sabotaging our livelihoods have wanted our economic collapse to occur in the next presidential administration

...look to globalist initiatives, from the U.N., a revised, communitarian central banking replacement of what we have known as the corrupt IMF and World Bank, etc. America will be “to big to fail” and the bailout will be offered with global governance (and new international currency) locked in. Welcome to the controlled world, Gulag America.
