The North Korea leader kept his trademark shaved sides but has decided to go punk.

His new hairstyle is said to be seen as a tribute to his father Kim Jong-il's gravity-defying style. However, one user on Twitter commented that he looks closer to 1990s pop star Vanilla Ice.

He unveiled his new look at a politburo meeting where he called upon his subjects to follow his father's example in all areas of their lives.

Kim seen oblivious as he leaned against a bed, that two soft toys had been placed in a compromising position on a wardrobe in the corner of the room.

The front toy had a satisfied smirk and a cheeky wink while its grey-and-white compatriot approached it from behind.
