1. Europe:
They Want A "United States Of Europe" But They Are Going To Need A Massive Financial Crisis To Get It
Are we about to see a huge push for a "United States of Europe"? As the sovereign debt crisis in Europe continues to spiral out of control, suddenly this term is popping up in the New York Times and in major newspapers all over Europe.
The truth is that there is an overwhelming consensus among the political and financial elite of Europe that a "United States of Europe" is what would be best for the eurozone.
However, they are likely going to need a massive financial crisis in order to reach their goal.
Remember the mantra: "Big Crisis = Big Change"? Well, we're just on the verge of seeing this scenario play out.
Right now, the citizens of the countries that make up the eurozone are overwhelmingly against deeper European integration. Without experiencing a massive amount of financial pain, they are unlikely to change their minds any time soon.
If Europe does not decide on a course of action soon, the euro is going to collapse and financial institutions all over Europe are going to come crashing down.
But instead of admitting that the euro was a massive mistake and returning to national currencies, most of the top politicians in Europe believe that "more Europe" is the answer.
Mario Draghi, the incoming head of the European Central Bank, is totally convinced that Europe needs to integrate much more deeply....
“To cope with this, we must have a treaty change. The aim of this effort should be a quantum leap up in European economic and political integration.”
This doesn't come as a surprise to prophecy watchers.
Of course one of the biggest proponents of a "United States of Europe" has been Herman van Rompuy. In a recent article, the Telegraph made the following eye-catching statement....
Herman van Rompuy is ready to run for a second term as EU president, at the head of a “United States of Europe”
Mr Van Rompuy has announced he is willing to take on the “unfinished” euro zone debt crisis with new powers setting an “economic government” in Brussels.
In closing we see this ominous tone:
Right now, the EU is a terribly undemocratic institution. Individual voters have next to no power over the control freaks that run things in Brussels. Every single day, the EU becomes a little bit more like the former USSR.
The last thing that the people of Europe need to do is to give the EU more power.
But that is exactly what the elite of Europe want.
They want a "United States of Europe".
And they may just be willing to allow a massive financial crisis to happen in order to get it.
Exactly as predicted.

George Osborne warns of new EU fiscal union treaty
Germany, France, Italy and EU officials demanded a replacement for the controversial Lisbon Treaty at a G7 meeting in Marseille this weekend.
Brussels sources have told The Daily Telegraph, that a proposal for formal negotiations to begin in December will be made at an EU summit next month. The talks will be chaired by Herman Van Rompuy, the EU president, and will involve a constitutional "convention" before the new treaty is agreed and ratified in all 27 EU countries.
So now we can see that the upcoming "EU Summit" next month could be pivotal. This will be worth watching closely.
2. The Middle East:
'Palestinian UN statehood bid popular in Europe'
The majority of Europeans in the UK, France and Germany believe that their government should vote in favor of recognizing a Palestinian state at the UN later this month, British newspaper the Guardian reported Monday according to an opinion poll.
Europeans in the three nations also overwhelmingly support the right of the Palestinians to their own independent state: 71% in the UK, 82% in France and 86% in Germany, the Guardian reported.
Bill to move embassy to Jerusalem gains force
A bill circulating in the US House of Representatives that would strip the president of his power to waive a law requiring him to move the US Embassy to Jerusalem is gaining traction and bipartisan support amid a groundswell of Christian support for the measure.
The proposal, which comes as the Palestinians prepare to unilaterally seek recognition of an independent state at the United Nations next week, serves to highlight the fruition of faith-based diplomacy at a time of increasing Israeli isolation in the diplomatic arena.
Mass protests likely following Palestinian UN bid
Israel Police Chief Insp.-Gen. said Monday that events surrounding the September 20 Palestinian statehood recognition bid at the UN could be "explosive," and said that the police had to be prepared for mass protests that might break out as a result.
Speaking at the 11th Interdisciplinary Center in Herzliya at the World Summit on Counter-Terrorism, the police chief said that recent cross-border terror attacks in southern Israel that resulted in the deaths of eight Israelis were a kind of preparation for the potential events facing police later this month.
Egypt-Turkey Tailspin
While Egypt and Israel acted to cool the crisis in relations sparked by last Friday's mob attack on the Israeli embassy, Turkish Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan threatened another inflammatory speech against Israel during his Monday visit, Sept. 12 - this one from Tahrir Square in a bid to buy the popularity of the Arab street.
Jerusalem and Washington are concerned that it will have the effect of stirring up anti-Israel riots in Egypt and Jordan, Israel' second peace partner, as well as encouraging the Palestinian terrorist Jihad Islami lurking in Sinai to proceed with its threatened cross-border attack.
Political sources in Washington and Jerusalem are profoundly concerned by four fraught developments
unfolding this week - all capable of sending Israel's ties with Egypt and Turkey into another perilous tailspin:
This article is worth reading. To briefly highlight these four developments we see:
1. The Turkish prime minister's Tahrir Square speech Monday afternoon. His anti-Israel campaign has drawn from the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood an enthusiastic welcome and the promise of a mass turnout.
2. The Turkish prime minister said Sunday that his campaign against Israel has five stages of which only two have been implemented. Word has reached Jerusalem that Erdogan is preparing more sanctions against Israel to be enforced in days.
3. Israel's government and military leaders worry that the Palestinian Jihad Islami terrorists lurking in Sinai for the past three weeks will choose this moment to strike.
4. The Muslim Brothers, Hamas and other radical Palestinian organizations in Jordan have used Facebook to rally "a million-strong march" on the Israeli embassy in the Jordanian capital of Amman for Thursday evening, Sept. 15, to push for the expulsion of Israeli Ambassador Danny Nevo.
3. Iran:
Iran and the EMP Threat
The immediate effects from an EMP weapon as used against the U.S. (or any region for that matter):
The first thing they will notice is there is no power. Another damn power outage, they will grumble — but then again, there has been no storm. Confused, some will try to call for information, but the phones will be down. The TV, the radio — nothing, no reception.
The panic will come when cars won’t start.
The traffic lights will be out, too. It will get much worse. Most will not survive to see life get back to normal in America.
Thousands will be stranded on subways, and over a million passengers who fly daily across the continent will be stuck at airports with flights canceled. Those already in the air will meet a deadly fate as planes plunge from the sky, their electronics fried.
Within the next few days, water supplies will run out: water-pumping stations will grind to a halt and electric pumps for water purification will also stop. Remaining water supplies will soon become contaminated.
Next is the food supply. Without power, food plants can no longer operate, and without transportation, food inventories in warehouses rot. Many cities will run out of food in just three days, others in just a bit longer.
This will be the result of an electromagnetic pulse attack over the atmosphere of the United States. In less than a billionth of a second, the electrical intensity on Earth becomes so hot that microchips fry, power lines overload, and the electrical grid collapses. Everything with microelectronics in it fails.
This seems more likely than any other big terror threat such as nuclear weapons or dirty bombs because the technology exists and it would be relatively easy to launch such a missile from international waters. The surprise is the fact that it hasn't already happened:
The Islamic leaders of Iran see it as their duty to create the environment called for in a centuries-old hadith for the reappearance of the last Islamic messiah for the glorification of Allah:
The radicals ruling Iran have openly talked about it as they have called for the destruction of America and a new world order that excludes America.
...the Revolutionary Guards of Iran have successfully test-launched a ballistic missile from a ship in the Caspian Sea. Recently, they also announced that all their vessels now have been armed with long-range ballistic missiles, and that soon they will start a mission in the Atlantic Ocean that extends into the Gulf of Mexico.

Earthquake awakes West Texans
A short-lived earthquake awoke some West Texans on Sunday morning to the unusual sound of shutters rattling and items jostling on nightstands.

9/11 Was Just One Of God's Alarms
Evangelical leaders reached out to millions on the eve of the 10th anniversary of 9/11 with gripping narratives and heart-touching teaching during the nationwide broadcast “A Wake-Up Call for God’s People.”
The daughter of American evangelist Dr. Billy Graham, Anne Graham Lotz, and New York Times best-selling author, Joel Rosenberg, spoke with passion as they urged Christians to repent and start a fresh revival in the church.
The main theme of the evening was delivered with passages drawn mainly from Matthew, Isaiah, and Revelation.
Both Lotz and Rosenberg talked about the nation’s economy and society being in severe trouble along with horrific natural disasters happening all over the world as rising threats to Israel, and growing persecution of believers, and environmental tragedies are all alarms going off to mark the signs of the times when Jesus will come again.
Rosenberg says, “This is what the Lord Almighty tell us in Haggai 2:6-7, 21-22; ‘In a little while, I will once more shake the heavens and the earth. I will shake all the nations….I will shake the heavens and the earth. I will overturn royal thrones and shatter the power of the foreign kingdoms.”
“To put it simply, the storm clouds are gathering,” Rosenberg said.“The winds are picking up. The tectonic plates beneath us are shifting.”
