The problem is, the freedoms that were intended for citizens of the U.S. have eroded so slowly that most people barely noticed.

Preppers Are Now Considered To Be Potential Terrorists?
If you and your family store up lots of food, will you be identified as "potential terrorists" by law enforcement authorities? That sounds like an insane question, but sadly it has gotten to the point where "preparing for the worst" has become a "suspicious activity".
Storing up food is a completely peaceful activity, and preppers are generally some of the most patriotic and law-abiding people that you could ever hope to meet.
Unfortunately, prepping has become associated with "extremism" by many in the government, and lately we have seen some very disturbing signs that authorities are actively seeking to gather information on preppers. So are preppers now considered to be potential terrorists? Well, read the evidence posted in the rest of this article and decide for yourself.

The other day, U.S. Senator Rand Paul gave a speech on the floor of the U.S. Senate during which he suggested that having "more than seven days of food" in your house could potentially get you branded as a "potential terrorist" by the federal government.
Someone missing fingers on their hands is a suspect according to the Department of Justice. Someone who has guns, someone who has ammunition that is weatherproofed, someone who has more than seven days of food in their house can be considered a potential terrorist.
If you are suspected by these activities do you want the government to have the ability to send you to Guantanamo Bay for indefinite detention?

Why in the world would federal agents be so interested in Americans that are "purchasing bulk food"?
Don't they have anything better to do?
As I have written about previously, authorities are also now using a tool developed by the CDC to conduct "door to door disaster preparedness assessments" in some areas of the United States.
The following comes from a local news report in Tennessee....
The Metro Public Health and the Tennessee Department of Health will be using a tool designed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to go door to door and check to see how disaster ready you are.
The door to door assessment will take place from 3:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Thursday and from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday. It will be in 30 neighborhoods in Davidson County that have been randomly selected to be the target of a door to door assessment.

The entire focus of the "war on terror" has shifted. According to FBI Director Robert Mueller, "homegrown terrorists" represent as big a threat to American national security as al-Qaeda does at this point.
Existence Of Military Detention Centers Signals America's Descent Into Martial Law
The existence of military detention centers in America has been acknowledged for several years in the alternative media. In 2007, the website Project Censored listed "Homeland Security Contracts KBR to Build Detention Centers in the US," as number fourteen in the top twenty five censored stories of 2007.
Project Censored pointed to a July 2002 article in the Sydney Morning Herald called "Foundations are in place for martial law in the US," by Ritt Goldstein. Goldstein wrote: "FEMA, whose main role is disaster response, is also responsible for handling US domestic unrest."
Fears of martial law in America are completely rational. A number of historians, authors, and journalists have warned that America is entering a period of violence, protests and social collapse in which the hijacked U.S. government will impose martial law to restore stability in the country.
Fed Interest In Food Storage Facility Connected To FEMA Executive Order 10999
On Thursday, Stewart Rhodes of Oath Keepers posted a bulletin on the organization’s blog reporting on federal agents demanding a food storage cannery in Tennessee turn over customer lists so they might discover who is purchasing bulk storable foods and storing it at the facility owned by Mormons.
He then speculates as to why the feds would demand customer lists. “DHS/FEMA wants to know which Americans have food storage so the federal government can at some future point confiscate that food. Just as with lists of gun owners, compiling such lists is the first step toward future confiscation,” he writes.
The facts:
In fact, the government codified the concept of food confiscation and redistribution when president Kennedy issued Executive Order 10999 on February 16, 1962.
10999 was one of several executive orders signed by Kennedy under the rubric of “national emergency” that extended extrajudicial power to FEMA, including the ability to control communications, energy, food, fuel, farms, transportation, highways, railroads, inland waterways and seaports, health, education and welfare. The EO also allows FEMA to organize citizen work brigades under government control and undertake the relocation of the population.
10999 also gives FEMA the authority to control all public storage facilities.
On June 3, 1994, president Clinton consolidated all previous FEMA executive orders into one all-encompassing order, #12919.

As many have noted, FEMA is not an emergency agency. It is a martial law agency. It is often referred to as the “secret government” of the United States.
“It is not an elected body, it does not involve itself in public disclosures, and it even has a quasi-secret budget in the billions of dollars,” writes Harry V. Martin. “This government organization has more power than the President of the United States or the Congress, it has the power to suspend laws, move entire populations, arrest and detain citizens without a warrant and hold them without trial, it can seize property, food supplies, transportation systems, and can suspend the Constitution.”
If we take the above into consideration, it makes sense that the feds would be interested in keeping track of facilities storing food supplies.
Army Posts Job for "Internment Specialist" Following KBR Call For FEMA Camp Subcontractors
Following our report on December 6 documenting KBR’s outfitting of FEMA internment camps in the United States, Business Insider posted an article entitled The US Army Now Offers A Prison Guard Specialty Securing ‘Civilian Detainees.’
“Every soldier that enlists in the Army chooses a Military Occupational Specialty (MOS),” writes Robert Johnson. “Designated by a number and a letter, the 31E MOS now includes advanced responsibilities including command and control of prisoner of war and civilian internee camps.”
The listing is posted under “Careers & Jobs” on the GoArmy.com website. It reads in part:
Internment/Resettlement (I/R) Specialists in the Army are primarily responsible for day-to-day operations in a military confinement/correctional facility or detention/internment facility. I/R Specialists provide rehabilitative, health, welfare, and security to U.S. military prisoners within a confinement or correctional facility; conduct inspections; prepare written reports; and coordinate activities of prisoners/internees and staff personnel.
Some of your duties as an Internment/Resettlement Specialist may include:
– Assist with the supervision and management of confinement and detention operations
– Provide external security to confinement/corrections facilities or detention/internment facilities
– Provide counseling and guidance to individual prisoners within a rehabilitative program
– Prepare or review reports and records of prisoners/internees and programs
The job is similar to one offered by the Army National Guard. We covered it in July of 2009. Since our original post, the Army National Guard removed the job posting from its website.

Criticism of Islam Could Soon Be A Crime In America
When President Obama delivered his much-anticipated speech to the Muslim world at Cairo University in June 2009, the free world trembled while the OIC (Organization of Islamic Cooperation) gushed with praise and begged for a meeting with Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
The OIC is the largest head of state organization in the world after the United Nations (UN) itself and comprises 56 Muslim countries plus the Palestinians. It claims to be the "collective voice of the Muslim world,"
One of the fundamental laws of Islam deals with "slander ," which is defined in shariah as saying "anything concerning a person [a Muslim] that he would dislike." At the OIC's Third Extraordinary Session, held in Mecca, Saudi Arabia in December 2005, the organization adopted a "Ten-Year Programme of Action to Meet the Challenges Facing the Muslim Ummah in the 21st Century." A key agenda item of that meeting was "the need to counter Islamophobia" by seeking to have the UN "…adopt an international resolution to counter Islamophobia, and call upon all States to enact laws to counter it, including deterrent punishments."
Six years later, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is due to host OIC Secretary General Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu in Washington, DC in mid-December 2011 to discuss how the United States can implement the OIC agenda to criminalize criticism of Islam.
Justice Department convened a meeting with Muslim shariah advocates at George Washington University in WDC, chaired by its civil rights division chief, Tom Perez. Dwight C. Holton , the U.S. Attorney in Oregon who was also present, announced that, after speaking with Attorney General Eric Holder, he wanted "to be perfectly clear about this: training materials that portray Islam as a religion of violence or with a tendency towards violence are wrong, they are offensive, and they are contrary to everything that this president, this attorney general and Department of Justice stands for. They will not be tolerated."

Time has run out for the cause of worldwide religious freedom. On November 18, 2011, America chose not to extend any further lifeline to persecuted religious minorities around the planet. On that day, the U.S. government shut down the work of an important and unique American effort: the U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom (USCIRF).
Oddly enough, the mainstream media does not seem to have covered this story. I certainly did not know about it. Did you? The only article about this appeared at CNS News.
The Nazification Of America
The fact that someone would claim that the Holocaust was “a big deception” is absurd. Yet, Iran’s Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has made that statement, as well as saying that Israel should be, in his words, “wiped off the map.” Countless wars haven’t stemmed the tide of man’s hatred, any more than the continuing ideology wars being fought for the hearts and minds of people everywhere.
The big deception is the device used by any government, or regime, to propagandize citizenry into believing the current rationale for imposing the latest law, regulation or rule. The root of the deception, by corrupt governments, is to gain complete control, with unfettered abilities to imprison, impoverish or intervene into the lives of their citizens.

In the United States of America, that translates to altering, diminishing or eliminating life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. The Constitution of the United States does not permit the chicanery of what is actually going on in America these days. Yet, a pervasive ideology that embraces government intrusion in almost every facet of everyday life and even in life’s seemingly most menial transactions, is becoming more commonplace. For many Americans, the change is frightening and they openly lament, “What is going on with our country? What can I do? How can we get our country back?”
Most recently, the internet has been abuzz about the National Defense Authorization Act, that would permit the United States government to detain any U.S. citizen, in this country, without cause or due process. The legislation would allow the government to declare any region a “combat zone.” This has followed a litany of legislation and executive orders confiscating the rights of Americans such as, The John Warner, Defense Authorization Act and the Enemy Belligerents Act.
What I find interesting is just how much current events in America parallel the events in Orwell's "1984":
Do you see a pattern taking place in America? If not, the pattern/process goes something like this. Fear or fear inducing devices are utilized to galvanize American citizens’ opinions against a mostly unseen enemy. That fear is used to foster support for policies, programs and “necessary” changes. Legislation is crafted to give government more authority than the Constitution allows, for the sake of “protecting the people.” A Homeland Security Department, yet another government agency, is created under the guise of thwarting the terror threats and protecting the Homeland and its inhabitants.
Update: " Feds and Rumors of Feds"
It's hard to believe that this story is actually worse than originally thought:
In short, the Feds went to a Mormon cannery in Tennessee and wanted the list of all those who had purchased bulk food. When the proprietor informed them that no such list exists, they asked for credit card receipts or anything else that would give them info on the customers who did business there. The owner then told them that it was a cash-and-carry business and they would not give them that info either. Good for them. It is none of the Feds business who is buying or how much.
I believe this is a precursor to accusing Americans of ‘hoarding’ food and passing regulation both prohibiting bulk food purchases and the seizure from homes of such food caches. This would be blatantly unconstitutional and fascist. It is a level of tyranny we have not seen in our lifetimes in the Land of the Free, but I fear it is almost upon us. Be very careful who you tell that you have stockpiles of food. Keep your private life quiet and protect your family and their future by being discrete.
There is soooo much going on that I can’t keep up with it. But I sense things are beginning to spiral out of control and next summer should be a doozy. Store food, get items to barter and buy guns and lead. Keep it to yourself and get ready for one hell of a ride. I’m sure we’ll hear much more on Feds and rumors of Feds…
FEMA Camps Going Live In All 50 States
The first paragraph characterizes the questions that we all have:
So it appears the government is stepping up its preparations. The government is now actively seeking contractors to provide services at FEMA camps across the country. This is scarier considering that the Senate just passed the National Defense Authorization Act which allows for the detainment of American citizens who are deemed terrorists. What is it they’re preparing for? Is this an attempt to lock up American citizens who disagree with the NWO? Are they preparing for a possible US land invasion by another country? Are they preparing for some catastrophic occurrence that they are keeping us in the dark about?
Read it an weep - weep for what this country once was, but will never be again:
For the better part of two decades FEMA detention camps were believed to be a figment of tin foil hat wearing conspiracy theorists. As more information over the years has been made available through alternative news researchers like Alex Jones in his full length documentary Police State 4 and former governor Jesse Venutra’s FEMA camp exposé, it is becoming increasingly clear that the government has been taking steps for quite some time to ensure a rapid and effective response in the event of a national disaster or U.S. military deployment on American soil.
For all intents and purposes, FEMA / DHS is now activating camps across the nation – in all 50 states – and ramping them up for detainment if and when the need arises.
Security, while not mentioned in the KBR release, is an issue addressed previously under guidance of the U.S. military. In an August 2009 report we highlighted that the Army is Hiring for Internment/Resettlement Specialists, in which we noted:
It seems that the US Government is preparing for a high volume of military prisoners. We suspect these will not be foreign nationals, as we either kill them or detain them outside of the USA. So, one must conclude that these corrections, interment and resettlement specialists will be supervising US citizens. The military is calling them internment camps or resettlement camps. Back in World War II they were called by a different name.
Another Bill Ayers Connection? Obama's Anti-Capitalism Speech In Osawatomie May Not Have Been By Chance
Does it seem curious to anyone why President Obama chose Osawatomie, Kansas, of all places, to give a controversial speech attacking capitalism?
Trevor Loudon of New Zeal Blog does, and he’s not the only one.
Loudon points out that the odd sounding Osawatomie was also the name given to the Weather Underground’s publication. Of course, Weather Underground was lead by none other than Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn.
To top it off, Judi McLeod of Canada Free Press highlighted yet another Obama and Osawatomie-Weather Underground connection that was first exposed by Zombietime:
Here’s another one of those “coincidences” about Obama and Osawatomie unearthed by Zombietime.com back in 2008: “Obama’s Election ’08 logo, and the logo of Osawatomie, the newspaper of the Weather Underground are one and the same. “Confronted, they (Obama and Ayers) would laugh it off as coincidence and conspiracy theory, and generations of graduates from the public school system, would counter a unified: “So what?”
So when Obama was doing the talking in Osawatomie on Tuesday, Billy Ayers and the Weather Underground were pulling his wobbly strings.
Lets face it. We all know from biblical prophecy and common sense that the new world order and the world-wide government that will be formed during the Tribulation is entirely inconsistent with a strong and free America. It would never ever happen.
Additionally, we know that America is not a noteworthy presence during the Tribulation, as highly detailed biblical prophecy regarding the Tribulation doesn't even give the U.S. a passing glance.
So either America gets enveloped by the new world order of the Tribulation, or it becomes so weak that its presence isn't a factor.
We're almost there.
As sad and as disconcerting as all of this is - it shouldn't matter that much to a Christian.
Sure, its tragic, as individual freedoms are gone - a thing of the past.
But our permanent home is in a place called New Jerusalem and it is 'ruled' by Jesus Christ - a far far better place than even the best case scenario ever presented here on planet earth.
And we are headed there soon. Now, we see what is coming to the earth - things are taking shape for the coming Tribulation.
What surprises this writer is the fact that so much of the work will have already been done for the antichrist once he arrives on the scene. It previously seemed that the antichrist would appear, take control and then form his draconian world government.
Now, however, it appears that much of the work and progress for such a government is already in place.
Rather than worry about the current state of affairs in America and this world, we, as Christians have been instructed to look up for Christ's return - and to have great hope and anticipation for such. This mandate is crystal clear from the scriptures contained in Luke 21:28, 21:31, and 1 Thessalonians 5:11, just to mention a few.
That should be our focus now. The worse things get on this planet simply means that our presence in New Jerusalem is imminent.
