Coincidence or "Cause and Effect"?

No one can argue that the U.S. isn't declining rapidly as a world power. No one can argue that the U.S. isn't crippled economically, with no end in sight. No one can argue that current and ongoing policies aren't leading to America's demise. And it is only the beginning stages of a massive decline as the U.S. continues destructive policies.

Is there a biblical reason for this?

First, lets put some context around this:

US stripped of AAA status

The United States has lost its top-notch AAA credit rating for the first time ever.
Standard & Poors has downgraded the US to AA+ in a dramatic reversal of fortune for the world’s largest economy.

Flirting with the Great Depression 2.0

When a nation’s debt equals its entire annual gross domestic product, it is bankrupt.

When it must borrow billions daily just to meet its obligations to other nations and individuals who have purchased its treasury notes, it is has reached a point of “moral hazard” that threatens the wealth of every single citizen.

This news is bad enough for the United States of America, but it affects many other nations around the world in exactly the same way the Crash of 1929 did, leading to the Great Depression of the 1930s and putting in motion the events that led to World War II.

Does history repeat itself? Apparently so.

Seduced and Abandoned

This whole despicable display of unabashed contempt for the Constitution, for the wishes of the American people, for truth, for the rule of law, and for freedom will be, for many, the tipping point.

For opposing a law that will add at least $7,000,000,000,000.00 to our already crushing debt - and probably a lot more, given that it will surely cause interest rates on the debt to rise - a law that puts dictatorial power in the hands of a “committee” that is more like a Soviet commissariat, a law that will wreck the constitutionally mandated balance of powers regarding borrowing and spending, for opposing all this un-American, unconstitutional, fascism, we have been branded as hostage-taking terrorists.

World Markets Plunge

Stock markets plunged on Thursday (4 August) to levels last seen in 2008 at the height of the financial crisis, amid worsening concerns about the US economy and Europe's capacity to overcome their debt problems.

Wall Street recorded its worst day since December 2008, with the Dow Jones index closing down by 4.3 percent. Markets in London, Frankfurt and Milan fell by 3 to 5 percent.

America Loses AAA Credit Rating

We Americans have always thought we were different.

We thought we could launch unnecessary, imperial wars worldwide ...

While we slashed taxes for the wealthy and big corporations
While we threw trillions at our big banks
We thought that somehow we could get away with spending like a drunken sailor, while not doing anything to stabilize our economy (which in turn deepened our debt even further).

We were wrong.

Super Congress: A Financial Death Panel That Will Help The Banks Loot And Rape America

“If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around them will deprive the people of all property until their children wake up homeless on the continent their Fathers conquered.” – Thomas Jefferson

The power of life and death over what’s left of the American economy and the millions of people who depend on Social Security checks now rests in the hands of twelve bought off officials who will make up the new Super Congress.

According to NPR, Paul Ryan, Eric Cantor, Harry Reid, and Mitch Mcconnell could be tapped to serve as the top destroyers of America, taking direct orders from the criminal bankers on Wall Street.

The Super Congress will use dictatorial powers to bypass constitutional checks and balances and ram through a fascist agenda through the Congress under the flawed premise that they are bringing the fiscal house in order.

OK, I'll stop there. There are literally hundreds of articles describing the downfall of America and the ramifications of such on the entire world.

The point is made.

Why is this happening?

Could this have to do with our attempts to force Israel to shrink into indefensible borders, which would lead to complete destruction of this tiny country?

Remember what God said about this issue?

"I will make you into a great nation
and I will bless you.

I will make your name great,
and you will be a blessing.

I will bless those who bless you
and whoever curses you I will curse"

Genesis 12:2-3

This is an unequivocal, unconditional statement that applies to all nations for all time. Period. No exceptions.

The EU is no better than the U.S. in terms of supporting Israel, in fact, they are worse, and look at what is happening to the EU right now - but that's another story for another day.

Is the U.S. really abandoning support for Israel? Is the U.S. really attempting to shrink Israeli into borders which are indefensible?

Lets allow Caroline Glick to answer that one:

Obama's only policy

This is a long read, but necessary to make the point regarding Genesis 12 and the U.S.

Here are a few germane points:

Israel has no one to negotiate with because the Palestinians reject Israel's right to exist. This much was made clear yet again last month when senior PA "negotiator" Nabil Sha'ath said in an interview with Arabic News Broadcast, "The story of 'two states for two peoples' means that there will be a Jewish people over there and a Palestinian people here. We will never accept this."

Given the Palestinians' position it is obvious that Netanyahu is right. There is absolutely no chance whatsoever that Israel and the PA will reach any peace deal in the foreseeable future. Add to this the fact that the Hamas terror group controls Gaza and will likely win any new Palestinian elections just as it won the last elections, and the entire exercise in finding the right formula for restarting negotiations is exposed as a complete farce.

So why is Israel engaging in these discussions?

Good question. Why would Israel engage in discussions which are ultimately intended for their complete destruction?

It makes no sense.

The only logical answer is to placate US President Barack Obama.

Let that reality sink in for a few minutes.

And take a look at U.S. demands upon Israel in the context of Genesis 12:

These demands include abandoning Israel's position that it must retain defensible borders in any peace deal with the Palestinians. Since defensible borders require Israel to retain control over the Jordan Valley and the Samarian hills, there is no way to accept the 1949 armistice lines as a basis for negotiations without surrendering defensible borders.

Yet, that is exactly what U.S. policy is dictating.

Obama uses US power and leverage against Israel in order to force Israel to bow to his will.

What makes Obama's Israel policy notable is not simply that it involves betraying the US's most steadfast ally in the Middle East. After all, since taking office Obama has made a habit of betraying US allies.

Obama's Israel policy is notable because it is a policy. Obama has a clear, consistent goal of cutting Israel down to size. Since assuming office, Obama has taken concrete steps to achieve this aim.

And those steps have achieved results. Obama forced Netanyahu to make Palestinian statehood an Israeli policy goal. He coerced Netanyahu into temporarily abrogating Jewish property rights in Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria. And now he is forcing Netanyahu to pretend the 1949 armistice lines are something Israel can accept.

These statements aren't "political", they are facts.

Caroline Glick then shows the paradox of our administration not having a coherent policy anywhere else in the Middle East, which has effectively led to the rise of radical Islam in the region, unabated, including the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt and now Syria.

But when it comes to Israel things are different.

The closing paragraph is seen below:

If nothing else, the waves of chaos, war and revolution sweeping through Arab lands make clear that the Arab conflict with Israel is but a sideshow in the Arab experience of tyranny, fanaticism, hope and betrayal. So it says a lot about Obama, that eight months after the first rebellion broke in Tunisia, his sole Middle East policy involves attacking Israel.

So. Rather than support Israel as they face almost insurmountable odds of survival (although we know that God will directly intervene, leading to Israel's survival) - the U.S. policy is consistent with the terrorist groups, Iran, Russia, the EU, the Muslim Brotherhood, and all other groups who are attempting to destroy Israel.

How does God view this?

Genesis 12:2-3 reveals this.

So, is it a coincidence that the U.S. is experiencing its most tenuous period in history?

is it a coincidence that the U.S. defense budget is being radically cut?

Is it a coincidence that the U.S. is rapidly falling as a world power?

Is it a coincidence that the U.S. is on the cliff of complete financial breakdown, leading to another great depression?

Is it a coincidence that the dollar will be replaced as the world's central currency?

Is it a coincidence that the U.S. and the EU are on parallel courses in their demise?

I'll let the reader draw his/her own conclusions.

But sometimes connecting the dots is painfully simple. 2+2=4. If A=B and B=C, then A=C.

God was extremely clear and unambiguous in His declaration in Genesis 12:2-3. And as stated above, this was an unconditional statement that was intended to apply to all nations for all times. No exceptions.

And we cannot forget that God often uses kings and nation's leaders to accomplish His goals, as there are many examples of such. King Nebuchadnezzar and the Babylonian Empire immediately comes to mind. In these situations, the arguments of whether God "allows" such kings to accomplish His purposes or whether God directly influences these selected leaders is irrelevant.

The U.S. is aiding and assisting in attempts to divide Israel and Jerusalem, and to shrink her borders - placing Israel in their most precarious position since 1948.

And let us not forget Zechariah 12:3:

"And when all the nations of the earth are gathered against her, I will make Jerusalem an immovable rock for all the nations. All who try to move it will injure themselves."

We've heard from God.

We see what U.S. policies are doing to Israel.

You connect the dots.
