Moscow Times: Ukraine's Poroshenko Says 80% of Security Officials Were Russian Spies in 2012 — Report
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has claimed that the majority of national security officials working under Kiev's former pro-Moscow administration were recruited by Russia's FSB, a news report said.
Poroshenko, speaking to students at a Kharkov university, said about 80 percent of officials working for the Ukrainian security services (SBU) in 2012 had also been recruited by the Russian Federal Security Service, the UkrInform news site reported Thursday.

WNU Editor: Since last summer the Ukraine government has been purging from their ministries anyone that they suspect has pro-Russian leanings ... and I have read reports that literally thousands have lost their jobs and/or have been dismissed. This has naturally produced a lot of fear for those who are still employed .... and anger among those who have been fired. Political opponents are also being targeted .... and this in itself is raising tensions and bitterness among many which does not help the current climate .... but such is the state of Ukraine today.
