Bush Warns Of Iraq Disaster

Before going to the Middle East, President George Bush gave an interview in which he outlined his worries about terrorism in the U.S., peace between Palestinians and Israelis, and his concerns on Iraq:

President Bush warned in an interview Tuesday that the Democratic presidential candidates' plans to withdraw abruptly from Iraq could "eventually lead to another attack on the United States" and would "embolden" terrorists.

In a White House interview with Politico and Yahoo News — a president's first for an online audience — Bush said his doomsday scenario for a premature withdrawal “of course is that extremists throughout the Middle East would be emboldened, which would eventually lead to another attack on the United States."

My Comment: No surprises in the interview. But what stuck is his concerns and worries on terrorists planning another 9/11. Some of my readers may disagree, but the most important part of being President is being responsible for our security. There is no question that President Bush puts this on top of his priority list.
