We know from prophecy that earthquakes will be in the news.
The fissures began appearing years ago. But in recent months, seismic activity has accelerated in northeastern Africa as the continent breaks apart in slow motion. Researchers say that lava in the region is consistent with magma normally seen on the sea floor -- and that water will ultimately cover the desert.
The earth is in upheaval in northeastern Africa, and the region is changing quickly. The desert floor is quaking and splitting open, volcanoes are boiling over, and seawaters are encroaching upon the land. Africa, researchers are certain, is splitting apart at a rate rarely seen in geology.
Earth tremors cause deep fissures to form in the desert floor and the ground in East Africa is shattering like broken glass. Researchers in the Gulf of Tadjoura, which juts into Djibouti from the Gulf of Aden, have recently registered a barrage of seismic shocks. "The quakes are happening on the mid-ocean ridge," Ebinger reports.

As many as 20 dead harp seals have washed ashore in Boat Harbour over the past couple of weeks, leaving perplexed locals scratching their heads as to the reasons why.
Wallace Woodward, who has lived in the small community northwest of St. Anthony for most of his 52 years, says no one can remember such a thing happening before.
And it’s not just harp seals that have been swept into the harbour — hundreds of dead catfish have washed onto land, becoming entangled with the seaweed strewn along the shore.
A myriad of other marine life, like sea slugs, sea urchins and starfish have also perished in the past three weeks.
“I’ve never seen anything like it, b’y, in all my years,” Woodward said Thursday, “It’s just unbelievable.”
Pelicans turn up sick, dead off Jacksonville coast
Hundreds of Eastern brown pelicans, some with missing wings and frostbite, have been injured or killed in the St. Johns River the past couple of weeks in the Mayport area.
These articles on unexplained deaths of so many animals keeps giving me the ominous thought of "the canary in the coalmine". Are these animal deaths analogous to the canary in the coalmine, with the earth as the coalmine, and these animals as the "canary"? Food for thought.
3. This one is in the category of "Huh?" Not sure what this one means, if anything, but interesting. The Department of Defense is up to something:
FAA to pilots: Expect 'unreliable or unavailable' GPS signals
The US Federal Aviation Administration is warning pilots to expect “unreliable or unavailable” signals from their global positioning gear as a result unspecified tests being carried out by the Department of Defense.
A second NOTAM (PDF) warns of similar GPS disruptions centered in Southern California Nevada around the same period.
“Pilots are highly recommended to report anomalies during testing to the appropriate [Air Route Traffic Control Center] to assist in the determination of the extent of GPS degradation during tests.”
4. The World Financial Crisis and the Coming "New World Order":

Between now and the end of the year, most likely in the fall, we’ll see major financial and economic problems in Greece, Ireland, Portugal, Belgium, Spain and Italy. Those events will sorely test Germany, France, Holland and Austria.
In Ireland harsh measures are being taken. Public spending will be cut 12%. Added to that is a tax increase that would be a reduction of $7.8 billion. Public services and the minimum wage will be cut as well. The wealthy will pay more and child support payments will fall.
While the above troubles manifest themselves the US goes merrily on its way like nothing was wrong. Americans have been pre-propagandized, as they were under stimulus - one into believing a recovery is in progress. We don’t share that prediction. The Irish and others understand their problems, but Americans cannot come to grips with them.
We see a rocky year in Europe that could end in bankruptcies. The efforts to bailout Greece and Ireland and now Portugal and Spain, will increase debt throughout Europe and lead to all nations having problems.
Thats not all - now we see that the measures taken thus far, intended to "fix" the problem will only make things worse:
These Fed policies and those of the ECB are designed to extend problems rather than solve them, which tells us there is no solution. Look at what has been done in Greece. No solution, just patchwork and austerity in order to delay the problems. Ireland’s bailout is a carbon copy. Such programs can only bring on default, which we expect to occur later this year.
This grand design for nations to be interconnected could eventually cause all of them to collapse like dominoes. If the US, the UK and Europe are in trouble the entire world is in trouble.

This is where the world governance is "necessary":
Everything is supposed to have a global solution.
This in part is what the new world order is all about.
Destroy the economies of Europe and the US and force them to accept world government. These are part of the group of people who want to dictate how you will live – every facet of your life. This process destroys the sovereignty of the nation state. Their functions are taken over by the World Bank, IMF, BIS and the WTO.
Today as a solution to poor bank lending we see austerity programs whose creation go back centuries. The enforcer today is the IMF, which in its processes becomes a dictatorial power of its own. In the austerity process comes privatization or the looting of assets owned by a sovereign state in the name of repatriation of debt.
This last quote is even more chilling:
The IMF may be the new world order’s Gestapo, which sets up formerly sovereign states as supplicant members of world government. The goal ultimately is a world bank to control all nations monetarily and financially. The stepping-stone to this condition is the BIS, the Bank for International Settlements.
What people have to understand is that events do not happen by chance and there are no coincidences. Every major event is planned as are many other smaller ones.
