The Aviationist: Another stunning U.S. Navy F/A-18E Super Hornet video

Here’s another really cool video filmed from aboard F/A-18E Super Hornets with the U.S. Navy’s Strike-Fighter Squadron 27 (VFA-27) “Royal Maces”.

Based at Naval Air Facility Atsugi, in Japan, VFA-27 is part of Carrier Air Wing 5 and is attached to the USS George Washington (CVN-73).

The video is just a teaser to this year’s full-length cruise video dubbed “That’s a Shack!” but it contains much interesting stuff, including the AGM-154 JSOW delivery as seen from the ATFLIR pod, low level flying in the canyons, dogfights and flight deck operations.

Methane Jump

The video shows high methane levels during the period July 16 - August 16, 2013, as recorded by IASI, MetOp2 Satellite. The video shows how high levels can get, mentioning that methane readings suddenly jumped dramatically, with levels recorded as high as 2349 ppb (on August 1, 2013). Later in August 2013, methane reached even higher levels. The image below shows readings as high as 2442 ppb on August 5, 2013.


We can count ourselves lucky that - until now - only a small part of the methane appears to be released from the Arctic seabed, but such releases threaten to send huge quantities of methane into the atmosphere rather abruptly, triggering runaway global warming and ending civilization as we know it in a matter of decades.

Below a comparison of early August methane levels over the years, created from images by Leonid Yurganov.


Below are two maps with methane lvels at over 1950 ppb, for the Northern Hemisphere and the Southern Hemisphere, respectively, for the period from July 16 to August 24, 2013.



The chart below shows average values of methane for the same period, with a peak level of 1862 ppb on August 2, 2013, on the Northern Hemisphere.


As the above chart illustrates, the methane jump occurred early August, 2013, both on the Northern Hemisphere and on the Southern Hemisphere. Assuming a total burden of methane in the atmosphere of roughly 5 Gt at an average value of 1800 ppb, then a simple division results in an additional burden of 2.78 Mt for each rise of one ppb, implying that a methane jump of 20 ppb corresponds with an additional burden of about 56 Mt (or 56 billion kg) of methane in the atmosphere.

Video and poster - methane in the Arctic

Methane in the Arctic threatens to escalate into runaway global warming.

Methane in the Arctic

Methane is often said to have a Global Warming Potential (GWP) of 21 times as strong as carbon dioxide, a figure based on IPCC assessment reports that date back to the 1990s. However, the IPCC has updated methane's GWP several times since, as illustrated in Table 1. below.


In its Fourth Assessment Report (AR4, 2007), the IPCC gives methane a GWP of 25 as much as carbon dioxide over 100 years and 72 as much as carbon dioxide over 20 years.

Furthermore, a 2009 study, by Drew Shindell et al., points out that the IPCC figures do not include direct+indirect radiative effects of aerosol responses to methane releases that increase methane's GWP to 105 over 20 years when included

Moreover, in the context of tipping points, which seems appropriate regarding methane releases in the Arctic, it makes sense to focus on a short time horizon, possibly as short as a few years.

Accordingly, methane's GWP can best be visualized as in the image below, which is also displayed mid-right on the poster above.

The image on the left shows methane's global warming potential (GWP) for different time horizons, pointing out that methane's GWP is more than 130 times that of carbon dioxide over a period of ten years.

IPCC1 figures were used to create the blue line. The red line is based on figures in a study by Shindell et al.2, which are higher as they include more effects. This study concludes that methane's GWP would likely be further increased by including ecosystem responses.

The ecosystem response can be particularly strong in the Arctic, where the seabed contains huge amounts of methane. Continued warming in the Arctic can cause large abrupt methane releases which in turn can trigger further methane releases from sediments under the sea.

This is particularly worrying, not only because of the presence of huge amounts of methane, but also because the sea is quite shallow in areas such as the East Siberian Arctic Shelf (ESAS), which in the case of large abrupt releases can soon lead to oxygen depletion in the water and make that much of the methane will enter the atmosphere without being oxidized in the water.

Additionally, low water temperatures and long sea currents in the Arctic Ocean are not very friendly toward bacteria that might otherwise break down methane in the water.

Salah satu analisa membandingkan potongan screen video (yang juga sempat beredar di Youtube namun belakangan di-close) dengan foto-foto dokumen yang ada di internet selama ini. Hasil analisa yang diposting di sebuah forum menguatkan dugaan bahwa itu Ariel dan Cut Tari

Di antaranya adanya cincin di jari pemeran cewek. Juga arloji di tangan kiri pemeran cowok yang memiliki kemiripan dengan foto-foto dokumen yang beredar di internet selama ini. Benarkah itu Ariel dan Cut Tari? Hingga kini belum ada pernyataan dari Ariel maupun Cut Tari. 

Dari meta data video tersebut diperoleh keterangan, video berkapasitas 50,9 MB. Video diambil pada tanggal 18 November 2006 pukul 18.18 WIB. jika ditelisik lebih lanjut berarti ariel selingkuh dengan cut tari semasa dia sedang berhubungan dengan luna maya alias sebelum menikahi sarah amelia.

Walaupun belum ada kepastian akan video mesum cut tari dan ariel yang panas ini namun dari beberapa forum besar indonesia yang menganalisa keaslian video panas ariel cut tari dapat ditemukan beberapa bukti kemiripan seperti jam tangan ariel pada video mesum ariel cut tari lalu gelang kaki cut tari dan juga tanda hitam pada lengan cut tari.

Ariel dan Cut Tari

Perempuan dalam video tersebut mengenakan baju terusan berwarna biru dengan dalaman tank top hitam. Video diambil dalam keadaan horizontal.Sang perempuan terlihat mengenakan cincin di jari manis tangan kirinya. Di jari tengah dan telunjuk tangan kanan sang perempuan juga tersemat cincin.

Sementara sang pria sudah tanpa busana dan mengenakan jam di tangan kiri. Kata rayuan pun meluncur dari bibir sang pria dalam video tersebut. Benarkah bintang di video tersebut Ariel dan Cut Tari?

Video mesum yang kedua ini juga terdapat beberapa dialog yang sangat jelas antara laki-laki yang diduga ariel dan cut tari, kasus video mesum ini memiliki kualitas yang lebih baik ketimbang skandal seks yang diduga luna maya dan ariel yang heboh beberapa hari lalu.

Analisa Teknis Video Porno Mirip Luna Maya - Masih penasaran dengan video porno mirip Luna Maya dan Ariel yang telah menghebohkan internet? Simak analisis teknis video tersebut dari kacamata TI.Menurut praktisi multimedia Abimanyu Wachjoewidajat video yang kini beredar ada yang berdurasi pendek (V1) dan berdurasi panjang (V2). Berikut hasil analisisnya.


1. Kedua file MP4 dibuat oleh video processor yang sama. Hal ini berdasarkan format data, Frame Per Second & Data rate dan lainnya. Kalau keduanya buat hasil reproduksi berarti sangat mungkin menggunakan HP/device yang sama.  Saat ini setidaknya beredar dalam 2 format data, versi 3GPP dan MP4.

2. Ada banyak asumsi bahwa 2 video tersebut dilakukan pada 1 sesi. "Fakta yang saya temui adalah kedua adegan tersebut dilakukan pada kamar yang berbeda. Hal ini berdasarkan struktur koridor kamar, TV, lukisan dan tempat tidurnya berbeda. Jadi sangat mungkin bahwa itu juga dilakukan pada hotel yang berbeda,"

3. Pada V1 kelihatan yang digunakan adalah double bed dan posisi yang dilakukan kadang melintang,sedangkan pada V2 menggunakan twin bed dan posisi actionnya selalu sejajar tempat tidur.

4. Soal figur pemain:

a. Pada kedua video diyakini dimainkan oleh 1 wanita yang sama dan memang sangat mirip LM. "Tetapi untuk figur yang pria, saya meragukan bahwa pria di kedua video itu adalah orang yang sama,"

"Sebab pada yang V1 tidak ada sama sekali wajah si pria, jadi tidak layak kalau kita katakan pada V1 tersebut adalah orang yang mirip Luna dan Ariel.  Karena pada V1 tidak ada bukti pelakunya mirip Ariel. Kemudian, perut si pria di V1 lebih buncit dibanding yang di V2 selain itu struktur tubuhnya sepertinya berbeda dengan yang di V2,"

b. Yang V2 wajah yang pria kelihatan mirip Ariel karena banyak atau beberapa kali wajahnya terlihat.

5. Soal tato yang wanita:

a.dia meragukan bahwa itu adalah gambar kupu-kupu, karena ia mengaku telah memeriksa dengan menggunakan program Image Manipulator Program lalu melakukan beberapa color adjustment.

"Bentuk yang tampil lebih mungkin mirip kumbang (dengan 2 pasang rentang sayap besar dan kecil) karena bentuknya melebar atau mungkin juga itu adalah gambar bunga tetapi dengan bentuk yang terbalik (dengan kuncup menghadap kebawah, mungkin agar indah bila dilihat pemiliknya).  Yang pasti bukan Kupu-kupu. Kalau kupu-kupu pasti bagian sayap akan lebar bukan memanjang.

"Ini saya lakukan tanpa ada rekayasa karena saya sertakan cara mensetting color adjustmentnya, kalau ada yang mengerti cara tersebut dan melakukan setting yang sama seperti yang saya lakukan maka dia pasti 100% akan mendapat hasil sama. Dengan kombinasi cara-cara di atas bisa diperkirakan bahwa gambar tersebut dibikin berkesan 3 dimensi dimana beberapa area (sedikit ke tengah) lebih tebal dan berkesan tumpang tindih,"

b. Khusus pada gambar 'Tato – Reduced Color'  dengan trik yang dia gunakan tersebut ia mengaku berhasil mendapatkan semacam suatu titik pusat dan garis awal dari keseluruhan gambar tato itu yang berwarna hitam.

"Hal ini menguatkan analisa saya di atas.  Dengan demikian pasti tato tersebut adalah tato permanen karena terjadi penekanan pada titik hitam tersebut.  Bukan yang non-permanen,"
